MOKE International’s press release for the Electric MOKE Mk2 gives the car’s range as 170 km in the body text and as up to 185 km in the company boilerplate, and both figures point to the same note.
That note (number 2 in the release, issued through Newspress on 12 October) says 170 km, or 105 miles, is the official WLTP combined figure. The 185 km (115 mile) number comes from MOKE’s own testing in cities and coastal areas, and the note adds that real-world range may come in below the WLTP figure.
The Mk2 debuted on MOKE’s stand (Hall 7.1, B01) at the Paris Motor Show, which runs 12 to 18 October. It has a 33 kW motor, about 44 hp, and a battery the release calls higher capacity than before without giving the size of the new pack or the old one.
The spec sheet
- Motor: 33 kW
- Range: 170 km (105 miles) WLTP combined; up to 185 km (115 miles) in MOKE’s city and coastal testing
- Top speed: 80 km/h (about 50 mph), stated only in the company boilerplate
- Onboard charger: 6.6 kW; 20 to 80 percent in two hours at 25°C
- Household charging: about seven hours for a full charge on a 3.2 kW supply
- Front storage: 86 litres, lockable
- Charge port: moved to the rear
- Cabin: rotary gear selector, USB-C, a 12V outlet, rear cup holders, wider footwells

Charging
A 6.6 kW onboard charger is AC charging, and the release mentions no DC fast-charge option. The two charging times it does give limit how big the pack can be. Adding 60 percent of the battery in two hours at 6.6 kW means no more than 13.2 kWh went in, so the pack is no larger than about 22 kWh. The seven-hour figure on a 3.2 kW supply works out to roughly 22 kWh as well. The release itself never states the capacity.
Price and availability
The Mk2 can be test driven, rented or bought in several European markets, none of them named. The release gives no UK or US price and no delivery dates. At €35,000 before taxes it sits in the price conversation we covered in our look at car culture being priced out of its own garage.
European buyers get paint that was previously US-only: the California Collection of Sonoma Red, Laguna Blue and Venice White, alongside Wave Blue, Sunlight Yellow and Sunset Orange from the Original Collection and Shell White, Eucalyptus Green and Palm Green from the Earth Naturals range. MOKE says it has sold more than 500 Electric MOKEs worldwide since the first one arrived in 2022, through 10 retail partners in America and Europe.
Each car is hand-built in Warwickshire, which MOKE says is a few miles from where the original 1960s MOKEs were made, and the company holds the 1964 European MOKE trademark. The release credits the original design to Alec Issigonis. It does not give the Mk2’s weight, seat count, battery capacity or the Mk1’s range. We covered another Paris debut, Alpine’s draped third-generation A110, earlier this month.
The Mk2 stays on stand B01 in Hall 7.1 through 18 October. Is €35,000 before taxes too much for a 33 kW car that tops out at 80 km/h, or is that what a hand-built beach car costs?
