Search for Taylor Swift’s car collection and you’ll find a dozen “inside her garage” lists with prices and model years. Almost none of it traces to a purchase record, a registration, an auction lot or a photo she posted herself. So this list sorts the cars by how much paper is behind them. Some are confirmed, some are rumored, and a few belong to someone else entirely.
1. The 1970 Chevelle From Her Wedding (Confirmed Event, Murky Ownership)
Swift and Travis Kelce were married July 3 at Madison Square Garden, and their representatives confirmed it to NBC News. The car everyone latched onto was a raffle prize: a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, described by two guests as the car the couple rode in on their first date. Nobody has said who won it, and nobody has shown a title with a new owner’s name on it. The car is real, but whether it ever sat in a Swift garage is not established. We covered the story in detail here.

2. The Rolls-Royce Ghost (Confirmed Sighting, Probably Kelce’s)
After the Chiefs lost to the Bills in December 2023, a TikTok clip showed Swift and Kelce leaving in a Rolls-Royce Ghost, which Page Six picked up and Robb Report later tied to Kelce. That makes it a documented car she rode in, not a documented car she owns. We wrote it up when it happened.

3. The Getaway Car (Fact, but It’s a Song)
The most famous Taylor Swift car is not parked anywhere. “Getaway Car” appears on Reputation (2017), and Wikipedia’s entry on the song notes the title serves as a metaphor for the narrator escaping one relationship by starting another. The same entry points to Billboard’s piece on Swift’s long habit of putting cars in her lyrics, from “Tim McGraw” onward. Cars are all over her catalog. They’re just not in a registry.

4. The Audi R8 (Rumor)
An Audi R8 is among the cars most often attached to Swift’s name in celebrity-garage roundups. We could not find a sale record, a registration, or a photo from Swift herself that backs it up, so it stays in the rumor column. Provenance is the whole game with celebrity cars. A genuine celebrity-owned car can carry a premium at auction, but only with paperwork: a VIN-matched title, a dealer invoice or an auction lot description. A line on a listicle is not provenance.

5. The Secret Garage Full of Exotics (Rumor)
Another recurring claim is that Swift keeps a quiet stable of supercars and luxury SUVs at one of her homes. No one has produced insurance paperwork, a dealer record or a neighbor’s photo that holds up. Security around her is tight, and she rarely posts cars, which cuts both ways: it makes the rumors easy to start and impossible to kill.
6. The Collection That Actually Has Paper: Kelce’s
If you want a celebrity garage in this household with documented cars, look at Kelce’s. We went through his garage in a separate post. Much of what gets credited to “Taylor Swift’s car collection” online appears to be his.
The Bottom Line
Confirmed: a wedding-day Chevelle, a Ghost she rode in, and a hit song named after a car. Rumored: an R8 and a hidden garage. Nobody outside her circle can say what she actually owns. Her garage door stays shut. The listicles keep filling it anyway.
If a famous owner’s car sells for double because of who owned it, should buyers get proof of ownership guaranteed by law? Pick a side.
