David Beckham has been photographed with more expensive cars than most dealerships stock, which makes his garage one of the most over-reported in celebrity culture. Plenty of what circulates is solid: auction listings, court records, and a Maserati he helped design. Plenty more is copy-and-paste lore that has bounced between listicles for a decade. We checked which is which.
1. FACT: A Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé he barely drove

The Drophead is the car most associated with Beckham’s LA Galaxy years, when he was photographed driving it around Beverly Hills. His 2008 car wore 24-inch black Savini wheels and had his old shirt number, 23, embroidered into the headrests, according to SlashGear. It went up on eBay in 2012 with fewer than 6,000 miles on it, which tells you how often a six-figure, 453-hp V12 convertible actually left the driveway.
2. FACT: A Ferrari 575 Superamerica, one of 559

Ferrari built just 559 Superamericas, and the party trick is the electrochromic glass roof that flips back over the trunk in seconds. Beckham bought his new and has talked up that “clever roof” in interviews, per SlashGear. It’s the most collector-minded car on this list: a front-engined V12 grand tourer that has aged into a blue-chip modern classic.
3. FACT: A 1988 Aston Martin V8 Vantage X Pack

If you want proof Beckham has taste beyond the obvious, this is it. The X Pack was Aston’s factory power upgrade for the old V8 Vantage, good for about 432 hp, and his car was offered through the marque’s own heritage arm, Aston Martin Works, in 2020 at £445,000. That’s a big number for an ’80s Aston, and the Beckham provenance did a lot of the lifting.
4. FACT: The silver Lamborghini Gallardo from his Real Madrid years

Beckham’s 2004 Gallardo was finished in Grigio Altair with an Italian-flag stripe and showed just 3,850 miles when it was listed for sale in 2021. He drove it during his time in Madrid. Carole Nash also notes custom “23” wheels, a recurring theme in his cars.
5. FACT: Two Ferrari 360 Spiders, one black and one red

Beckham has owned a black 2001 360 Spider and a red 2003 example. The black car went to auction in 2017 with an £85,000 estimate. A 360 is a lot of Ferrari for the money today, and a Beckham one is about as close as most buyers will get to his garage.
6. FACT: A one-off Maserati MC20 Fuoriserie Edition he helped design

Beckham signed on as a Maserati brand ambassador in 2022, and the payoff was a car built to his spec through the brand’s Fuoriserie customization program. CarBuzz reports gloss black paint with pastel pink accents, including pink Brembo calipers, badges and headrest embroidery, over black leather and Alcantara with pink stitching. Underneath it’s a normal MC20: a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 making 621 hp. Maserati later spun the idea into a Fuoriserie Essentials collection of Beckham-themed options for customers.
7. FACT: A fleet of Land Rover Defenders for the school run

For all the supercars, the Beckhams’ everyday cars are Land Rovers. Supercar Blondie counts several Defender 110s in the family, in Santorini Black, Carpathian Grey and a newer black 2023 car used around London, shuttling between the city and their Cotswolds home. One of them made headlines in 2020 when it was photographed parked on double yellow lines.
8. FACT: A Bentley that cost him his licence

The least glamorous entry is also the best documented. In May 2019, Beckham was banned from driving for six months after admitting he used his phone while behind the wheel of his Bentley in central London, as ESPN and ITV reported. Bentleys have stayed in the rotation since: we covered him pulling a parking ticket off his Bentley on Bond Street, and driving trouble seems to run in the family, as Cruz Beckham lost his licence after a second speeding offence.
9. FACT: A Kahn Design Range Rover Sport with his name in the carpets

This 2007 Range Rover Sport 4.2 was customized for Beckham by British tuner Kahn Design, with blacked-out trim, a body kit, quilted leather, rear headrest screens, a “Designed for David Beckham” dash plaque and carpets stitched with his name, according to eBay Motors. It was worth about £100,000 new and has since changed hands at auction and on eBay.
10. FACT: A 10% stake in an electric classic car company

In June 2021, Beckham bought 10% of Lunaz, the Silverstone-based company that converts classic Rolls-Royces, Bentleys and Jaguar XK120s to electric power, Top Gear reported. He said he was drawn in by the company’s restoration work. Whether he owns a Lunaz car himself has never been confirmed.
11. RUMOR: A Porsche 911 Turbo convertible with “23” in the seats

This is where the listicle lore starts. Carole Nash says Beckham bought a black 997-generation 911 Turbo convertible in 2008, had 23 stitched into the leather, and sold it on eBay in 2011. Other lists describe his first supercar as a 1997 911 Carrera that sold at auction in 2008. Porsches were clearly part of the story, but the details shift depending on who’s telling it.
12. RUMOR: Victoria bought him a Bentley Continental GT Supersports

A 2010 Continental GT Supersports, the 621-hp hot rod of the first-generation GT, shows up on almost every Beckham list, usually described as a gift from Victoria. Goal repeats the gift story, but we haven’t found a first-hand source for it. If the Supersports name rings a bell, Bentley recently brought it back for a new car shown in Dubai.
13. RUMOR: A pair of McLarens

Several lists credit Beckham with an MP4-12C Spider and a 720S. Neither has the paper trail of the Aston or the Gallardo, with no auction listing and no well-known photo of him driving one. Treat both as plausible, not proven.
14. RUMOR: A Jaguar F-Type Project 7

Jaguar built only 250 Project 7s, a 575-hp speedster tribute to the D-Type. It’s a perfect Beckham car on paper, and it appears in lists of his collection, but we couldn’t find a sighting or sale record that ties a specific car to him.
15. RUMOR: A Rolls-Royce Ghost to go with the Drophead

The “pair of Rolls-Royces” in many headlines usually means the Drophead plus a black Ghost. The Drophead is documented. The Ghost is reported, mostly by the same aggregator lists, without a clear original source.
16. RUMOR: The MC20 was a freebie
Because Beckham is a paid Maserati ambassador, some outlets describe his MC20 as a gift from the company. That’s believable for a brand partnership, but neither Maserati nor Beckham has said how the car was paid for. Some reports also put a second, gunmetal MC20 in his London garage.
17. RUMOR: There’s a beekeeping suit in the old Land Rover

Beckham keeps bees at his Cotswolds home and has been seen in a vintage Land Rover Series III in Grasmere Green. The story that the beekeeping gear lives in the back of it is, by Supercar Blondie’s own description, a rumor. A charming one, though.
18. RUMOR: The whole collection is worth $2.7 million
You’ll see Beckham’s garage valued at $2.7 million in one place and much more in another. Those totals add up list prices of cars he may or may not still own, including several that have clearly been sold. Nobody outside the family knows what is in the garage right now, so any single figure is a guess.
The bottom line
The confirmed Beckham garage looks like a collector’s: a Superamerica, an X Pack Vantage, a Gallardo, and a one-off Maserati, with Land Rovers doing the real work. The rumored half is mostly expensive cars that fit the image and repeat from list to list. For more celebrity garages, see our breakdowns of Sydney Sweeney’s car collection and Nicole Kidman’s $6.5 million car collection. So if you could take one home, is it the X Pack Vantage, the Superamerica, or the MC20 with pink calipers?
