There is undeniable entertainment value in watching a fellow in Denver attempt to navigate a skatepark aboard his Can-Am Spyder. As most viewers will have guessed from the outset, the endeavor does not go smoothly, since the three-wheeled machine simply is not built to handle such terrain. The mismatch makes for a memorable clip.
The Spyder’s unusual layout, while stable on the road, leaves it ill-suited to the steep transitions and tight curves of a skatepark. Attempts to push vehicles well outside their intended environment rarely end gracefully, and this one is no exception. It is the sort of harmless misadventure that reminds everyone why certain machines and certain places do not mix.
