Heat vs Warriors ended 120-100 with Stephen Curry passing Oscar Robertson, and on the best-cars question the Warriors have the better garage on paper, even with one fewer player counted.
Heat vs Warriors ended 120-100 on Thursday at Chase Center, and on the question of which team has the better cars, Golden State comes out ahead by roughly $55,000 in listed value. That figure depends on unsourced price lists, so treat it as a ranking of paper, not metal.
Golden State won its sixth straight after an 0-3 start, according to ESPN’s recap. Curry scored 29 and moved past Oscar Robertson into 17th on the NBA’s career scoring list. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 20 points and 14 rebounds for Miami, Bam Adebayo had 18 and 10, and Klay Thompson got a warm ovation in his return to face his old team. Davion Mitchell led the Heat with 22.
For this Heat vs Warriors car comparison, we counted only players who were in the game. Jimmy Butler (right ACL surgery), Moses Moody and Kristaps Porzingis were out for Golden State, according to the pregame injury report. Tyler Herro wasn’t mentioned in the injury report or the recap, so we left him out. The prices below are ClutchPoints’ listing figures, which name no source and carry no dates.
Miami’s record
Giannis has the most expensive single car in the building: a Rolls-Royce Cullinan listed at $336,000, which the list ties to a TikTok sighting by Daniel Mac with no link or date. The rest of his $587,300 garage is a Land Rover Defender 110 ($51,700), a GMC Yukon ($52,100) and a BMW i8 ($147,500).
Thompson’s list adds a 2022 Mercedes G-Class ($139,900 and up), another BMW i8, a Range Rover Velar ($60,000 and up, which the list says is only “reported”), and a Lincoln Continental the list guesses is from the 1960s. Counting those at base or typical prices comes to about $382,000. A $200,000 Bentley Mulsanne he gave Megan Thee Stallion for her 31st birthday, reported in February, isn’t in his garage, so we left it out.
Adebayo’s list is the shortest: an Audi A8 ($89,995) and a Range Rover ($90,900), about $181,000.
Golden State’s record
Curry’s seven-car list totals about $759,000, led by a 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 RS ($161,100) and a Panamera Turbo S ($179,000). It also has a Mercedes-AMG G55 ($123,600), a Tesla Model X 90D, a Range Rover, an Escalade ESV, and a 2018 Infiniti Q50 at $34,200, the cheapest car on his list.
Draymond Green’s list comes to about $446,000: a BMW i3, a Mercedes S-Class Coupe, a G-Class and, like Giannis and Thompson, a BMW i8 at $147,500.
Heat vs Warriors: best cars
On the listed figures, Golden State’s two players come to about $1.205 million, against about $1.151 million for Miami’s three. That works out to roughly $603,000 per Warrior and $384,000 per Heat player. Miami has the single most expensive car, but Curry’s two Porsches carry the Warriors. If Butler’s roughly $500,000 list counted, the gap would widen, but he didn’t play.
Heat vs Warriors, best cars: do you give it to Golden State, with a GT3 RS and a Panamera in Curry’s garage, or to Miami, with a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and three players’ worth of cars?
