Chip Foose has a SEMA 2026 project with Fox Factory Vehicles, and so far the entire public record is a YouTube Short posted September 23 titled “Chip Foose x Fox Factory – Releasing at SEMA 2026!” That’s the title. That’s mostly the facts, too.
What the post says
The description says Foose Design is teaming up with Fox Factory Vehicles on a new collaboration and that it will be released at SEMA 2026. It does not say whether the project is a truck, an SUV, a trim package or a one-off. It gives no base vehicle, no powertrain, no price, no production number and no word on whether anyone can buy one.
SEMA runs November 3 to 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, according to the show. That leaves three weeks to get from a YouTube title to a truck on a stand.
What Fox Factory Vehicles has built
The division’s two earlier public documents set a baseline. Its April 2024 release described a Silverado 1500 4WD RST with Baja Kits long-travel suspension, FOX 3.2 Live Valve shocks, 14.5 inches of front travel, an estimated 700 hp and 640 lb-ft, a production limit of about 500 units and a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. The release lists no price.
The 2025 truck page lists a supercharged 6.2L V8 at 700 hp and 655 lb-ft, the LTZ as the starting trim, the same warranty, a three-tier paint program that includes paint-to-sample, carbon-fiber hood and bedside reveals, and 8-, 12- or 14-pod LED lighting packages. Neither document says whether the Foose project builds on that truck.
Warranty is the first thing to ask about on any converted Silverado. Callaway and Waldoch’s 602-hp Silverado, which we covered, was sold on leaving GM’s coverage intact. Fox lists its own 3-year/36,000-mile coverage, and the pages we read do not spell out how it sits alongside GM’s.
Foose and SEMA
Foose’s name has moved metal before; we covered his 1969 Camaro heading to auction. Other builders, like Tucci Hot Rods with its twin-turbo Maverick, are already showing hardware. Foose and Fox have shown a title and a description the length of a hashtag.
The spec sheet, price and production run should arrive when the show opens on November 3, and they will show whether this is a one-off or a catalog item. If it lands as a Foose design package on top of a 700-hp base truck, should the name carry a premium, or should the price follow the hardware?
