One of the rarest reinterpretations of the Porsche Carrera GT is coming to auction with barely enough miles on it to reach the next town.
The 2004 Gemballa Mirage GT, listed as Lot S120, is scheduled to sell Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Monterey 2026 auction. It wears VIN WP0CA29804L001085 and is chassis 24 of 25, the last bespoke Mirage GT that Gemballa completed in the build sequence.

The German tuning house conceived the Mirage GT as the ultimate expression of the Carrera GT, a car that was already among the most demanding and most admired supercars of its era. Rather than chase forced induction, Gemballa left the naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V-10 breathing on its own and worked around it. The engine enhancement package brought revised ECU tuning, a custom ram-air intake and a free-flowing stainless steel exhaust, good for 670 horsepower. Drive still goes through a six-speed manual gearbox, here fitted with an upgraded Gemballa sport clutch.
The chassis received racing-inspired suspension components, internally ventilated ceramic composite brake discs and a new set of Gemballa forged center-lock wheels in a motorsport style, with tires to match. A KW front and rear axle lifting system helps the low bodywork clear driveways and speed bumps.
The exterior conversion is carbon fiber throughout, finished in Lime Rock Gray Metallic and black with Sun Yellow accents. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Slate Gray Alcantara with yellow stitching, joined by a carbon fiber interior package and an upgraded Gemballa multimedia unit with a data control system.

The car has covered 100 miles since the conversion was finished. Documentation includes build records and supporting invoices from Gemballa that lay out one of the most extensive and expensive Mirage GT builds the company undertook.
A comprehensive service was performed ahead of the sale, with paperwork to show for it, and applicable factory recalls have been completed.
With only 25 cars built and this one closing out the run, the Mirage GT rarely surfaces on the open market at all, let alone with a three-digit odometer reading.
