A national charity sweepstakes is offering one winner a pair of Ford Mustangs built 60 years apart, blending vintage muscle with modern performance in a single grand prize.

The Mustang Dream Giveaway features a restored 1966 Mustang GT 2+2 Fastback alongside a 60th Anniversary 2025 Mustang GT Convertible. Both wear Ford’s familiar Blue Oval badge, and both are described as turnkey and ready to drive. Organizers say the winner will also receive $34,000 to cover federal prize taxes, a detail that often catches sweepstakes winners off guard.

The older of the two cars is a K-Code model, one of only 5,469 produced in 1966. It carries a solid-lifter 289-cubic-inch V-8 rated at 271 horsepower from the factory and is paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in Wimbledon White with a red Pony interior and GT trim, the fastback also includes a period AM radio. Collectors prize the K-Code designation, which marked the highest-performance engine option of the era and remains scarce today.

The newer Mustang celebrates six decades of the nameplate. It is the 432nd example of just 1,965 built in the special anniversary edition. The convertible matches its vintage sibling in color, also wearing Wimbledon White, but contrasts it with bold Carmine Red leather seats. Power comes from a 5.0-liter V-8 producing 480 horsepower, enough to reach 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The car rides on 20-inch Dark Gravity Gray wheels and includes anniversary badging and a B&O premium sound system.

Proceeds from the giveaway support veterans and children’s charities. Entrants make a donation in exchange for tickets, and organizers note that past winners have come from a wide range of backgrounds, including teachers, mechanics, truck drivers and veterans.

One ticket, organizers say, could put both cars in the same driveway.
