Those who know Batman mainly through film and television tend to picture him in elaborate, fully custom Batmobiles. In the comics, however, the Dark Knight makes use of a far wider range of vehicles, including various Batmobiles as well as more utilitarian machines in his fight against crime.
Among those is a rugged Humvee, a departure from the sleek supercars typically associated with the character. Variety like this allows comic creators to match Batman’s ride to the demands of each story, reminding fans that the hero’s garage is far deeper than the silver screen often suggests.
