Cadillac de México will sell 11 Escalade-V Edición Checo Pérez SUVs at 4,099,000 pesos apiece. The brand’s own price page lists a regular 2026 Escalade-V at 3,847,500 pesos, so the gap is 251,500 pesos, and none of it goes to the engine.
GM de México announced the edition in a press release dated October 19, after a launch at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence in Mexico City. The release says the trucks are for the Mexican market only and went on sale through Cadillac dealers on October 20. The count matches the number 11 that Pérez carries on his car for Cadillac’s Formula 1 team. (We looked at that racing program through the V-ONE concept.)
What the premium buys
GM’s release lists the edition’s additions as:
- Black-and-white exterior configurations, with interiors in contrasting tones of both, in the Cadillac F1 team’s colors
- Black Escalade and V-Series badges, plus monochrome Cadillac logos
- A visible carbon-fiber V-Series engine cover
- Sport pedals
- Cadillac logo projectors in the side mirrors
- A welcome kit
- Two plaques signed by Pérez, on the B-pillar and the center console, numbered 1/11 through 11/11
Four of those items already have part numbers. Cadillac Mexico’s 2026 Escalade-V accessory catalog offers a black illuminated Cadillac emblem (85793486), a black Escalade emblem (85053409), a black V-Series emblem (85079675) and a mirror projector with the Cadillac logo (85547991). It also sells monochrome-logo wheel center caps. The catalog prints no prices and sends shoppers to a dealer for them. The engine cover, pedals, welcome kit and plaques aren’t in it.

Cadillac’s own photo of that console plaque reads “CHECO PEREZ / 11 of 11.” It’s in English and drops the accent the press release puts on his surname, on a truck that will only be sold in Mexico.
Same V8, same numbers
The release quotes 682 hp and 653 lb-ft from the supercharged 6.2-liter V8, with a 10-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. Those are the figures Cadillac Mexico publishes for every 2026 Escalade-V. GM describes the changes as “elementos de personalización” (personalization items) and makes no performance claim. The six-piston Brembo front brakes, electronic limited-slip differential, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, Magnetic Ride Control and V-Mode in the release are the regular truck’s hardware.
The release gives a length of 5.38 meters and a wheelbase of 3 meters, which makes this the standard-length body rather than the long ESV. Cadillac lists the Escalade-V ESV at 3,995,000 pesos, 104,000 less than the Pérez edition with its extra length and cargo room. The release also borrows features from what it calls the “V-Sport” configuration, including 24-inch six-spoke wheels and massaging rear executive seats, without saying whether the edition is built on it.

What GM didn’t say
The release doesn’t name the paint colors or say how many of the 11 are black and how many are white. It doesn’t say how buyers will be picked, whether by order date, dealer allocation or invitation; it says only that the trucks are available through the national dealer network. It gives no delivery date.
Paco Garza, president and CEO of GM Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, said the edition “celebrates more than 20 years of V-Series legacy and recognizes Checo’s career.” Pérez’s line in the release is shorter: “Mexico has always raced with me in every race.” U.S. Ambassador Ron Johnson spoke at the event about American innovation and the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, which is a lot of diplomatic weight for a trim package.
The timing isn’t subtle. Formula 1’s Mexico City Grand Prix runs October 30 to November 1, with the race on Sunday, November 1, 13 days after the launch. GM hasn’t said whether any of the 11 will be handed over before Pérez races at home.
Would you pay 251,500 pesos over a regular Escalade-V for two signed plaques and the number 11, or order the black badges from the parts counter and keep the difference?
