A weathered 1968 Chevrolet Camaro has turned up for sale on eBay, and it is not being pitched as a finished restomod but as the raw starting point for one. The Woodstock, Illinois seller is calling it a “Yenko Restomod project, Phase 1-2-3,” an offer structured so a buyer can take on as much of the build as they want to tackle themselves.

The $14,900 asking price covers Phase 1: a numbers-matching coupe body finished originally in Marina Blue with a black deluxe interior and a four-speed manual, carrying the VIN 123378N370864. The seller says the car has not been touched or disassembled since it came off the road decades ago and describes the sheet metal as solid overall, aside from expected soft spots in the floors and a small area of the rear quarters.

That base price also includes a new-old-stock pair of GM door shells, reproduction front fenders, rear quarter panels and wheel wells, a fiberglass Yenko-style hood, plus a trunk lid, tail light panel and roof panel. The seller says a Ford 9-inch rear end and housing, fresh gas tank, black headliner and visors, and a pair of original deluxe door panels are already in place, along with frame connectors and new rear leaf springs.

For buyers who want to go further, two optional add-ons are on the table. Phase 2, an additional $8,500, adds a professionally machined and assembled 427 big block built with a two-bolt block, forged pistons, an Edelbrock aluminum intake and heads, a hydraulic roller cam, and Harland Sharp roller rockers, with build paperwork included. Phase 3 adds another $1,950 for a fiberglass Eleanor-style front nose and side rocker mouldings with exhaust outlets. Buying all three phases together brings the total to $21,000, and the seller believes a properly finished build could be worth $100,000 to $120,000 in today’s market.
