Dramatic footage captured a heavily modified diesel truck engine catching fire during two back-to-back runaway episodes at a tractor pull event. The situation grew especially intense the second time the engine fired up and flames began to shoot out, making for a tense scene.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident despite how alarming it appeared. Runaway diesels are a known hazard in the high-stakes world of pulling, and while this episode made for striking video, the safe outcome is what matters most to everyone involved.
