Ahead of Monterey Car Week, plenty of warnings circulated that the California Highway Patrol had ramped up speed enforcement. Even so, one driver couldn’t resist pushing the limits.
A McLaren wrapped in a Homer Simpson and donuts theme drew officers’ attention and earned its driver a speeding citation. The eye-catching wrap that made the car a crowd favorite also made it impossible to miss when the CHP came calling.
