Josh Klinghoffer, formerly of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, has been sued following a crash in which his SUV fatally struck a pedestrian. He is alleged to have been driving while distracted at the time.
The family of the person who died has filed a lawsuit against the musician. The allegations have yet to be resolved in court, and Klinghoffer is entitled to the presumption of innocence as the matter proceeds. The loss of life remains a tragedy for all involved.
