An Oregon man owes his life to his faithful dog after a frightening ordeal in a remote part of Baker County. He crashed his truck into a ravine and was badly hurt with no easy way to summon help.
In a Lassie-like turn, the man’s dog ran off and managed to draw attention to the scene. That heroic effort led rescuers to the injured man, ultimately resulting in a successful rescue and a heartwarming reminder of the bond between people and their pets.
