A heavily damaged 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona inspired by the General Lee has surfaced ahead of an upcoming online auction, drawing attention for both its styling and its condition.
The modern muscle car, finished in orange with a black roof and black accent details, wears “01” door decals made famous by The Dukes of Hazzard television series in the mid-1970s. Despite the nostalgic appearance, the vehicle’s current state places it firmly in the automotive hall of shame rather than pop culture celebration.

The most significant damage is concentrated at the front, where the entire front end has been torn away, including the headlights and grille. Additional damage is visible on the left front fender, the passenger-side door, and the right rear quarter panel. The extent and distribution of the damage suggest the car came into contact with more than one solid object.
Airbags do not appear to have deployed, though the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unknown. The vehicle had accumulated just 4,279 miles at the time of the incident. Despite the exterior damage, the digital gauge cluster and infotainment system remain operational, and the Charger is reported to still run and drive. Keys are present.
This particular Charger Daytona is a two-door, battery-electric muscle car, representing Dodge’s new direction for the nameplate. At the time the listing was prepared, the vehicle was still awaiting its title, a detail that often accompanies severely damaged vehicles offered through insurance auctions.
The car is being advertised by IAAI through its Dayton, Ohio, branch. While the auction date has not yet been announced, the listing positions the Charger as a future online offering. Potential buyers may view it as a restoration project, a donor vehicle for parts, or simply an unusual collectible tied to both modern EV performance and classic television imagery.
Looking ahead, Dodge has signaled that the Charger lineup may expand in a much different direction. The automaker is expected to introduce a version powered by a V8 engine, potentially reviving the Hellcat formula with a supercharged 6.2-liter engine aimed squarely at rivals such as the Ford Mustang.
For now, this damaged electric Charger stands as a reminder that bold styling does not guarantee a heroic ending.
