Amanda Bynes Shows Off Her Latest Ride: A Used BMW

Plenty of people are wondering whatever happened to actress Amanda Bynes. Either those people haven’t seen anything about her in years or they have and they’re still wondering what’s going on with her for a number of obvious reasons. Well, there are many more questions after Bynes took to her Instagram Stories to show off a used BMW she had just purchased.

While it’s nice that she’s excited about her older Bimmer, it seems like an odd thing to brag about to almost 100,000 fans as well as countless other strangers creeping on your very public profile. And while some have predictably praised Bynes for being down-to-earth and relatable for her excitement at the acquisition, just as predictably some have decided to mock her for sharing.

We firmly believe everyone can enjoy whatever car they wish, even though we have our own preferences. While we wouldn’t get all worked up over a rather run-of-the-mill used Bimmer, if Bynes thinks it’s a hot, luxurious ride fit to show off to everyone, then well that’s her prerogative.

The fact that Bynes apparently has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was held for a few days by Los Angeles police for a mental health evaluation during the summer could have everything to do with the former actress’ behavior.

Bynes now has a podcast, which she very publicly quit for a whole day after complaining that she wasn’t getting A-list celebs for interviews. That might be why she settled for a used BMW instead of something new, then turned to Instagram to have people praise her purchase as a way of feeling better about it. Hey, we’ve all been there, just usually in front of much smaller groups.

Hopefully Bynes enjoys her car and finds her groove while learning to manage her mental health.
