Tow trucks have been misused to take vehicles from parking lots, roadsides, and even private driveways. In some cases criminals steal or purchase a tow truck specifically to carry out such schemes.
Now another towing company stands accused of stealing cars. The allegations remain unproven, and those involved are entitled to the presumption of innocence as the matter is investigated.
