A long-awaited follow-up to the NASCAR-themed film Days of Thunder appears to finally be moving forward, much to the delight of racing fans. Reports indicate that Tom Cruise will reprise his starring role in the sequel.
Given Cruise’s central involvement in the original and his enduring star power, his return feels entirely fitting. Fans of the first film are understandably excited at the prospect of revisiting the high-octane world that made the movie a favorite.
