A Track-Bred Shelby Super Snake-R Could Be Yours, And It’s All For Charity

A rare, track-bred Mustang is up for grabs in a new charity sweepstakes, with proceeds supporting organizations that serve veterans and children.

The grand prize is a 2026 Shelby Super Snake-R, the third example out of just 100 slated to be produced. Built on the Ford Mustang Dark Horse platform, the car carries a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 that generates more than 850 horsepower. It pairs that output with a six-speed manual transmission, leaving gear changes entirely up to the driver.

The Super Snake-R marks the first time the “R” designation has appeared on a Super Snake, a move that signals a new performance tier in the company’s lineup. Organizers say the vehicle was made available through Dream Giveaway’s longstanding relationship with Shelby American, and that this particular car is serialized as number three in the limited run. Each unit is logged in the official Shelby Registry, a detail that lends the vehicle collector-grade standing among enthusiasts.

Beyond raw power, the car is engineered for the circuit. It features fully adjustable coil-over suspension, a chassis stiffening system and race-derived hardware intended to maintain stability at high speeds. A widebody stance, oversized performance tires and a full set of carbon-fiber aerodynamic pieces—including a front splitter, rear wing and diffuser—are designed to increase downforce and grip. The interior includes performance seats, serialized badging and finishing touches that underscore its limited production.

The starting value of the car exceeds $220,000. Organizers say they will also cover federal prize taxes for the winner.

To enter, participants make a donation supporting the charitable causes. A recent addition to the prize package comes from SwissTrax, which will provide modular interlocking garage flooring sufficient to outfit a single-car garage for the winner.
