In a scene reminiscent of an action movie, two men in a Ford F-150 robbed a semi-truck while it was stopped at a red light in Memphis, Tennessee. Not long ago, such a brazen act would have seemed almost unthinkable.
Today it represents just the latest example of increasingly bold cargo theft. The incident highlights growing concerns about the vulnerability of commercial trucks even in the middle of ordinary traffic.
