Rapper GloRilla, whose given name is Gloria Woods, was pulled over and cited for driving under the influence on April 16. Body camera footage from the stop has since been released, and accounts of the video describe an interaction in which the artist was not fully cooperative with the officers involved.
The DUI citation represents an allegation at this stage, and GloRilla is entitled to the presumption of innocence as the matter is addressed through the legal system. Cases involving well-known musicians tend to draw considerable media attention, but the underlying process remains the same as it would be for anyone else.
