Unlike some celebrity encounters where officers don’t recognize who they’ve stopped, former NBA point guard Rajon Rondo’s identity was apparently known during his traffic stop. He was pulled over by Indiana state troopers on January 28.
The stop ultimately led to his arrest, and footage of the incident has since surfaced. As the matter involves allegations that remain unresolved, Rondo is entitled to the presumption of innocence as the case moves through the proper legal channels.
