The Engine Block was founded a couple of years ago by a group of car enthusiasts who wanted a place where like-minded people could come together to share their passion for the hobby. Despite its relative youth, the venue quickly built a devoted following, becoming a cherished hub for the local automotive community in Ireland.
That community was dealt a heavy blow when a fire destroyed the complex. The loss of a gathering place that meant so much to so many is deeply felt, and supporters have rallied around those affected. Such spaces are difficult to rebuild, but the camaraderie they foster often proves resilient in the face of setbacks.
