It’s always a lot of fun opening presents, but we quite frankly aren’t big fans of unboxing videos. However, this one of a black Ferrari F40 being delivered to its new owner is an exception, in part because it’s shot beautifully and also because the Italian supercar is just amazing.
Check out this R33 Nissan Skyline GT-R barn find.
We never knew an unboxing video could be so engaging, mesmerizing even. There need to be more of these filmed, both of classics and modern collectables. We would definitely watch more of these.
This Ferrari F40 breaks from convention in a few ways. First of all, and most obviously, is the fact it’s black. It’s commonly believed that all F40s rolled out the factory draped in Rosso Ferrari or that deep red we all know and love. However, the boys in Maranello did paint a small number other colors, including black.
We don’t know if this particular one was originally black or if this was done by an owner later. Either way, it looks fantastic and the Scuderia Ferrari shields are present, just like they should be.
Then there are the black, five-spoke Speedline wheels. While out of the factory all F40s came with five-spoke wheels, so this one keeps that same general concept, the shape of them is different, plus they’re unpainted. We didn’t think we’d like seeing something like this, but with the black paint it actually works.
Whoever bought this Ferrari has a beautiful garage/showroom to enjoy it when not driving the supercar. They obviously love Italian cars, the F40 sitting next to a classic Alfa Romeo. Oh, and he also has a lift, allowing him to hoist the vehicle up into his living space. Imagine having such a house!
Of course, anyone who can afford to buy an F40 these days has to be loaded and then some.
