It might seem unlikely that an ATV could sustain a long police chase, but that assumption isn’t always accurate. In Florida, a man reportedly led officers on an extended pursuit that wound from Miami-Dade into Broward County.
We certainly don’t encourage anyone to attempt such a thing, as fleeing law enforcement is dangerous and illegal. Any suspect involved is entitled to due process, but the episode showed how unconventional vehicles can occasionally complicate pursuits.
