Police chases have featured all sorts of unlikely vehicles, including U-Haul trucks, but this one stood out. The suspect attempted to flee by driving the rental truck in reverse.
A U-Haul makes for a questionable getaway vehicle even under normal circumstances, and operating it backward only compounded the difficulty. The unusual tactic added a strange wrinkle to an already serious armed robbery case.
