With autumn in full swing, plenty of shoppers have been heading to Target for seasonal favorites. In one striking case, an eight-year-old reportedly decided to make the trip without permission, taking her mother’s crossover and driving roughly a dozen miles toward the nearest store.
An Arkansas trooper ultimately brought the situation to a safe end before anyone was hurt. The episode is a sobering reminder for parents to keep keys well out of reach, since a curious child behind the wheel poses a serious risk to themselves and everyone else on the road.
