Ken Block died just over a year ago but his legacy is as alive as ever. One way that lives on is through the man’s unique builds, one of the most famous being his beloved RaptorTRAX, which is now listed for sale through a dealer. It doesn’t come cheap, but someone will have the privilege of owning this masterpiece truck on treads which was owned by the late, great rally driver.

You might be familiar with RaptorTRAX when about nine years ago it was featured in a series of Monster videos. That unveiling of the truck once again showcased why Block was a marketing genius as well as a mad scientist.
Block played with tracks on quite a few vehicles, but RaptorTRAX is probably the most famous of all. Built by Block’s Hoonigan team and SVC Offroad out of Hurricane, Utah this truck is truly one of a kind. The most obvious modification are the Mattracks but the build goes further than that with King shocks with remote reservoirs and custom made suspension components.
The exterior wears a variety of auxiliary lights and unique graphics, making this truck easy to identify. Plus, there’s a quick-release barbecue in the payload, a waterproof exterior sound system, and a Warn winch just in case.
Under the hood is a Whipple supercharger force-feeding the Ford 6.2-liter V8. That setup is supposedly good for 650-horsepower. That might not sound like much because a lot of people incorrectly assume this was made using a Raptor as the base. In fact, the truck started off as a 2009 Ford F-150 SuperCab, so it’s been modded to the moon.
You’ll notice there are two seats in the bed. The roll cage is supposed to protect them from injury even if the truck rolls. Plus there’s a roll cage in the cabin. Block was obviously concerned about this Ford possibly rolling or flipping off an unseen ledge, a real concern when traversing the backcountry in the snow.
There’s not another truck out there like the RaptorTRAX. That, combined with its ties to the late Ken Block means if you have to ask how much this vehicle is, you likely can’t afford it.
