It’s well known that former professional wrestler Bill Goldberg is a huge car guy and that he has a particular soft spot for Mopar muscle cars. That’s why it’s not entirely shocking to learn he took delivery of a 2023 Dodge Challenger Demon 170. But what is a little surprising is to learn his is a one-of-one spec, making it that much more special.
These celebrities love their Mopars.
As seen on Goldberg’s Garage, a YouTube channel dedicated to Goldberg’s car collection, the man was over the moon about getting the highly sought after swan song for the Hemi V8.
While many have been willing to plop down obscene amounts of cash to get their hands on a Demon 170, which boasts even more impressive performance than the Challenger Demon, some have struggled to find one that’s available.
We’re sure many of the 170s will sit in preservation bubbles as people wait for the high-powered, track-build muscle cars to appreciate in value big time over the coming years.
Thankfully, Goldberg doesn’t have that level of delusion. The man loves to drive and he couldn’t wait to do a proper burnout in his newest Mopar muscle car, even thought it’s a one-of-one spec. The man even took it out driving in the rain because he was just excited.
And that’s what separates a true gearhead from someone who scoops up cars like this and treats them like bottles of wine sitting in a collection, untouched, for years on end. Even though we might treat out rides with care, not trashing them to get YouTube attention or some dumb thing like that, we still want to drive and enjoy them.
So to see Bill Goldberg having a blast in his Demon 170 makes us respect the man that much more. And we already had plenty of respect for him as an athlete, entertainer, but most importantly as a gearhead.
