We’ve seen a lot of off-road conversions for street cars and most quite frankly are boring. Oh look, a lifted Mustang on 34-inch mud tires, how lame. There’s a Dodge Challenger with wheel spacers on oversized tires, hard pass. Then we saw the Trail Boss Corvette and our deepest, darkest off-roading desires were finally fulfilled.
Watch police chase an ATV on the freeway at speeds up to 66 mph.
You see, the C6 Corvette is a special machine. They’re decently quick, handle well, have a shocking amount of cargo space, aren’t driven by a bunch of snobs, and are also aren’t horribly expensive. Sure, the interior is nothing to scream about and you’ll be asked where your white New Balance shoes are when you show up in one, but who cares?
However, there’s been one thing bugging us about the C6 Corvette: why can’t we take it on trails? Well, someone else obviously was vexed by this same perplexing conundrum because they created the one and only Trail Boss Corvette.
There can only be one of these and luckily if you act quickly it could be yours. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the Trial Boss Corvette is for sale as we speak. But we don’t expect this gem to last long.
After all, how many sports cars can you take deer hunting? There’s plenty of room in the back for the deer carcass plus you can drive this thing pretty much anywhere. It also works for those who do construction, forestry, mining, or are a bagger at Trader Joe’s. Everyone will respect you for driving this, even if they don’t say so openly.
The one catch is this build costs real money, a whole whopping $33,000. We actually think that’s a steal, but haters will say it’s overpriced because it’s “only a C6 Corvette.” The joke’s on them because it’s a C6 Corvette on 33s so you can make that LS3 really work for its money.
Also, this car is apparently YouTube famous, easily adding $20,000 to its value. Better get it now before some other savvy car investor snags it first. Check out the listing for yourself here.
