The Jurassic Park/World movies and the Jeep brand have a longstanding relationship, and it continues this summer. With the launch of Jurassic World Rebirth Jeep is yet again on the center stage with a new marketing wave featuring the Wrangler 4Xe.
Famous coffee heir allegedly gets into road rage fight, leads police on a chase.
At the core of the marketing push is a new set of commercials featuring the Jeep Wrangler 4Xe plug-in hybrid being used in the Jurassic World among dinosaurs and rugged terrain.

Researchers send a lone scared man to navigate the dangerous terrain in the rig, which of course has its doors and roof removed to make him extra exposed.
In the original Jurassic Park movie, which came out in June 1993, a fleet of 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ Saharas with unique graphics, including the park’s logo on the doors, were heavily featured.
While most people were fascinated with the CGI dinosaurs used in the movie, off-road enthusiasts were captivated by those Jeeps. People still try to recreate that look on their own Wranglers, whether they own a YJ or a different generation, showing the lasting impact that first film has.
With subsequent movies, Jeep and Universal Pictures have teamed up to do co-branded marketing. The biggest one that really caused a stir among enthusiasts was a Super Bowl commercial which ran in 2018 and referenced the iconic scene featuring the Jeep Wrangler YJ in the original movie ahead of the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
This time around, the Jeep Wrangler 4Xe playfully features a Jurassic Rated badge we think will be a huge hit with fans. Jeep will be launching co-branded merchandise for its online store soon and we bet a lot of enthusiasts are hoping that badge is included.

If not, expect people to make their own, whether by 3D printer or some other means. After all, life finds a way.
