Plenty of people have fantasized about being 007 himself, James Bond. While that will remain a fantasy for everyone, one lucky person can get closer than most by buying actor Daniel Craig’s personal Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition. The celebrity-owned motorcycle is crossing he auction block soon, so it’s time to gear up if you want a shot at it.
The Swiss government fined a tailgating BMW driver a huge amount for the offense.
Number 003 of only 250 Scrambler Bond Edition models ever made, and bearing the signature of Craig himself, the motorcycle is most certainly collectable. What’s more, the bike is currently owned by the actor and so is registered in his name, proving provenance.
If that’s not enough, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Daniel Craig and Triumph Motorcycles CEO Nick Bloor is also part of the deal.
What’s more, the Triumph is essentially brand new with only delivery mileage showing on the odometer. The special edition Scrambler 1200 was created to celebrate the upcoming release of No Time To Die, the fifth 007 film Craig had starred in.
Distinguishing it from other Scramblers is a unique James Bond design which features a few 007 callouts like on the lower side panel finisher. When the digital instrument cluster starts, it reads “Bond” as yet another reminder of the bike’s theme.
Whomever is the lucky top bidder not only gets this amazing Triumph motorcycle but also will enjoy a riding experience at the Triumph Adventure Experience in Wales. Lee Morrison, a Bond movie stunt coordinator as well as a stunt double from the films will provide instruction. That alone will be a singular experience.
That very special motorcycle is set to cross the auction block through Bonhams with proceeds to benefit the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
