A Range Rover once driven by Queen Elizabeth II is set to attract global attention when it crosses the auction block next month in Birmingham. The 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE, finished in Tonga Green Metallic, is estimated to sell for as much as £60,000 during Iconic Auctioneers’ “Iconic Sale” at the NEC on November 8.

Supplied new in 2007, the luxury SUV is reported to be the only diesel Range Rover of its generation used by the late monarch in this specific color. It features a 3.6-liter TDV8 engine and has accumulated around 120,000 miles. Despite its age and mileage, its royal connection makes it an exceptional collector’s piece, blending prestige with British engineering heritage.

The vehicle includes subtle custom details linked to its original use by Her Majesty, such as rear grab handles and a dog guard fitted in the cargo area — small but practical touches for royal outings. After serving in the royal fleet, the Range Rover moved into private hands and spent time in Spain, where prolonged sun exposure caused some paint deterioration.
The current owner has since carried out a careful restoration, using authentic Land Rover components to preserve its originality. Among the refinements are a period-correct rear entertainment system and a factory telephone setup, both sourced to match the car’s original specification.

With its combination of royal history, rarity, and restoration quality, the Range Rover stands as a distinctive example of the British marque’s craftsmanship. Collectors and royal enthusiasts alike are expected to bid competitively for the chance to own a vehicle that once carried the late Queen herself.
