One of the most divisive trends in car culture right now, other than the stance movement, are the donks. There’s a lot of disagreement about what’s technically a donk, with some arguing only Impalas and maybe Caprices from certain years can be called that. But we think this 1977 Buick Regal qualifies.
This 1947 Willys Jeep rat rod might be appealing to you.
After all, the thing is raised and has 29-inch wheels fitted to it. To us, this kind of looks like some of those diecast cars kids play with that have comically large wheels. We honestly don’t really understand this movement, which some call high risers and other things we can’t publish.

Anyway, this is a pretty nice yet affordable ride. While the convertible top might need some work, and there are some other imperfections in the body, overall it doesn’t look awful.
The seller says this thing has a 5.7-liter big block V8 under the hood and you can see those rather large exhaust finishers in the rear. Can this thing scoot? Maybe, and we bet someone is going to find out.
As for the interior, it looks pretty nice with new blue and white crocodile upholstery. The only thing this ride is missing at this point, other than a kicking sound system, is a custom paint job, something flamboyant. Or maybe a wrap.

While this thing isn’t our cup of tea, we get other people really love donks or high risers or whatever. It sounds like the owner is a little sensitive about all the hate, or dumb people have been sending dumb messages, because the listing says “PEOPLE IF YOU DONT LIKE THE CAR JUST KEEP SCROLLING NO REASON TO LEAVE RUDE CONTENTS” all in caps like that.
In other words, don’t harass this person if you hate the build. Just let people be and go enjoy what you like.
