One would think a Porsche Taycan Turbo S would be in immaculate condition considering how recently the luxury performance EVs were released. But one owner apparently has so thoroughly enjoyed his that it’s filthy outside and in, which is why he hired a professional car detailer to give it a deep cleaning.
Learn why a cop pulled over a UFO.
At least Tino Car Care was able to make an interesting video showing the process of detailing the wheels/tires, body, and interior so meticulously it looks like a showroom vehicle in the end. This is the result of having the correct tools, knowing how to effectively use those tools, and being absolutely meticulous about thoroughly cleaning every nook and cranny of the car.
When all you do is detail vehicles all day every day, you can’t help but get good at it. But even among professional detailers we’ve seen, this guy does an exceptional job. Unfortunately, he’s in Europe so there’s no hiring him to detail our rides, but good detailers are pretty much everywhere.
Here in the United States, a Porsche Taycan Turbo S will run you anywhere from $209,000 on up, depending on options you order. Porsche is famous for allowing buyers to add all kinds of extra goodies and packages, but at a cost.
That price surely sounds steep to almost everyone, but you get more than just a beautiful EV. Using launch control, it can blast from 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds, thanks in no small part to the 938-horsepower produced by the electric powertrain. It can even hit 162 mph on a closed course.
Why anyone would spend so much on such a vehicle to get it so dirty isn’t entirely clear to us. But the owner surely has the cash to hire this professional detailer to make it sparkle again. We think having the guy clean it more often would be a wise move.
