At first glance, this first-gen Ford GT supercar looks a little ho-hum compared to other offerings on the market. After all, it’s silver with no stripe, making the exterior comparatively plain. But when you lift the rear cowling, the factory supercharger is notably missing, replaced by two large twin turbos force feeding the engine.
This Ford Raptor build is ridiculous.
Even better, this modified supercar is up for grabs on Bring A Trailer with just three days left to bid. It should be a lot of fun on the road or track, so one lucky person is going to experience that.

According to the seller, the twin-turbo modification was done by M2K Motorsports out of Katy, Texas. The shop also installed an Accufab throttle body and MoTeC engine management unit.
The factory Ricardo six-speed manual transaxle with Setrab cooler and helical limited-slip differential are also present.
This setup should provide plenty of performance for a casual enthusiast and these first generation Ford GTs have also proven to be great investment vehicles.
While this example doesn’t have the racing stripe or side tape stripes, it does come with HID headlights, fog lights, and all the regular trimmings on the exterior. Designed to look somewhat like the old Ford GT40 cars which swept the podium at Le Mans, this supercar will turn heads and provoke questions.

Even though the interior is relatively simple, it’s still luxurious and unique. Ebony leather, aluminum trim, Sparco seats with ventilation grommets and harness slots, air conditioning, and a push-button ignition are all included.
As a nice bonus, a Kenwood touchscreen infotainment head unit works with the rearview camera as well as two subwoofers and Genesis Profile Two Ultra amps. There’s even a Safecraft fire extinguisher installed.
This is quite the Ford GT with a mere 10,000 miles advertised. The top bid is over $260,000 at the time this was written, but with time to spare before the auction closes, we expect it to go much higher.
