It’s no secret rapper Travis Scott really loves cool rides, but his latest acquisition is something else. He reportedly has landed himself one of the Apocalypse Omega Rex trucks, setting him back about $160,000 for the purchase. Which for him is more like pocket change.
Two-door Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler pickups are now available.
The Omega Rex is Apocalypse Manufacturing’s interpretation of the Ram TRX. In stock form it already packs one hell of a punch thanks to the Hellcat Hemi V8 under the hood, pulsing with 717-horsepower and enough testosterone to power a small village.
Apocalypse modifies the Ram with 40-inch tires mounted on 22-inch wheels, plus a custom lift to fit all that rubber and extender fenders for the same reason. That makes the pickup look even more imposing and ready for anything.
Other aesthetic modifications include the “War” grille and tailgate badging and armor coating instead of traditional paint. Apocalypse also includes a cool chase rack with a light bar and spotlights mounted up top, improving visibility when you’re away from civilization or everything melts down.
News that Scott grabbed himself one of these rare Omega Rex trucks was broken by TMZ. Quite a few other celebrities are clients of Apocalypse Manufacturing, which is based in Pompano Beach, Florida, including Drake, Luka Doncic, and Shaq.
Because they feature plush interiors and plenty of space for friends or family versus a supercar, yet they also have plenty of crazy flair, Apocalypse has become a growing favorite in many circles.
This isn’t Scott’s first Apocalypse truck. He already has a Hellfire 6×6, which is based on the Jeep Gladiator pickup, extending the bed and adding an axle. Power is bumped up via a 392ci Hemi V8, plus the body wears all the aggressive parts and a tough coating to make it look ready for war or the apocalypse.
