Sometimes we run across custom builds that make us throw up in our mouth a little, like this Honda Civic pickup. The guy who made it has all kinds of cutesy names for this atrocity, like Mini Ridgeline, but we call it what it is: an automotive sin. Even better, it’s for sale, so you could own this mistake.
Check out the Ford F100 restomod inspired by Steve McQueen.
That’s right, the guy who built this thing is now trying to not only pass it off onto someone else, but make them pay him for it, too. It’s truly outrageous.

Made with what we can only assume was a clapped-out 1996 Honda Civic EX Coupe (just look at the paint), this thing has no backseat or trunk, both replaced by the bed. The good news is it’s every bit as utilitarian as a Ford Maverick. The bad news is it’s every bit as utilitarian as a Ford Maverick.
A big plus is the owner says he not only has the title for this Honda, it’s clean. Normally, we’d say that would positively affect the value, but with the modifications done, well they’re extreme enough to cast some serious doubt on that forecast.
The guy does say the Civic “runs and drives perfect” and that there are “zero leaks.” We assume he’s talking about the powertrain, but we’re wondering if the bed leaks? And why did he cut up what was supposedly a perfectly good Civic to create this… thing?

We wish there was at least one good photo of the payload in this Civic. Maybe there’s a reason one isn’t included in the post? If we were genuinely interested in this thing, we’d be asking for that before getting serious.
