Rap superstar Tekashi 6in9ine, otherwise known as Wallah Dan (real name Daniel Hernandez), seems to perhaps have a bit of a tax problem. A report claims the IRS has swooped down on his Lake Worth, Florida home where agents seized two of his cars stored there.
Rashee Rice’s legal problems are just getting worse.
The operation, which was supported by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, went down on April 17, says the TMZ. Images obtained by the tabloid show his Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Continental GTC.
Both vehicles have color-splatter wraps, but the Bentley has been customized by TPT Foreigns. It remains to be seen if these rather garish, taste-specific modifications will have a positive or negative effect on value should these rides be auctioned to the public.
Apparently, Tekashi himself wasn’t present to watch his beloved rides get towed away by the feds. Where he was at the time isn’t clear, nor is it apparent if he wants to be found by US officials. But TMZ says the man has been in the Dominican Republic where he’s been grappling with some legal problems on the island nation and is rumored to still be down there.
In the meantime, the rapper’s attorney says a statement will be issued later. So we’re all left in the dark about what exactly is going on.
Tekashi has quite the array of vehicles, most of them bearing some sort of rainbow-themed wrap of some sort. It’s possible more of them have been seized, but TMZ only had photos of the two loaded up on tow trucks.
Perhaps Tekashi will get all this sorted out in no time. After all, on his Instagram account there are multiple photos of him sitting with piles of cash. There’s no way anyone could mismanage a fortune like that, right?
