Some people have really fond feelings for the Dodge Neon SRT-4. And yes, we know some people want everyone to sincerely believe the car isn’t a Neon. However, when we ran across this low-mileage, modified SRT-4 listed for $30,000 we just about choked. Maybe some people will be willing to pop out for it, but we think even some fans of the car will be taken back by the price.
You could go for this more expensive track toy instead.
The seller says he’s the original owner of the car, which has just 31,850 miles on it. From what it sounds like, the little Dodge has been babied its whole life in Arizona, never subjected to the elements, garaged from day one, no accidents, etc.

On top of the SRT-4 being in cherry condition, it has a long list of modifications. No, we’re not talking about dumb stancing stuff with negative camber and weird vinyl graphics down the sides. This guy went for power with an upgraded turbo, modified fuel system, bigger intercooler, etc.
He claims the Dodge is now pushing 450-whp. That’s a lot and is something we’d definitely want proof of before plunking down $30,000 for the car. We’d say that about any build, so we’re not picking on this SRT-4.

We also know these cars can be built to be fast, something we’ve covered at least a couple of times before. In the ad, the guy has a couple of photos of what looks to be awards this Dodge has won over the years. We guess that means the new owner could also roll up to shows with this thing and get a couple shelves of trophies and such.
But is all this worth $30,000? Well, that’s for you to decide. Would you plunk that kind of cash down to own this 2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4 or would you get something else instead?
See this car’s listing for yourself here.
