A pair of middle aged twins describing how their mother and other witnesses to a car crash encountered an armed carjacker has gone viral. The women live on the Sunshine Coast in Australia and apparently have gained notoriety before for their unusual way of talking in unison, like they’re reading each other’s minds.
This opulent minivan will make all the other soccer moms jealous.
The clip really took off once it reached X, where people immediately started making references to the creepy twins in The Shining. But some Australians jumped into the conversation and pointed out the pair have been famous Down Under for some time.
There's no way @7NewsAustralia thought they could post this with the comments off and not have anyone say something.

One person shared a clip from a news story posted to YouTube 11 years ago, showing the twins in their early 30s talking about how they’ve been apart only once when one was hospitalized overnight.
Sure enough, way back then they were completing each other’s sentences and talking in unison, just like in the interview about the carjacking.
Others pointed out the twins, Paula and Bridgette Powers, were disciples of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin. They do volunteer work helping out injured birds, nursing them back to health before they’re released back into the wild.
Supposedly, their talking in unison resonates with the birds, maybe something having to do with the flock mentality? If their interesting proclivity is useful like that, more power to them.
The story about a carjacker emerging from a crashed vehicle, threatening the lives of the twins’ mother and other witnesses who were trying to help anyone injured, not realizing they were walking into a dangerous situation with an armed criminal, has been pretty much lost, thanks to the freaky unison talking of these two.
