We honestly didn’t have “cop pulls over UFO for a traffic violation” on our 2024 bingo card, yet here we are. Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in Missouri said a deputy pulled over a flying saucer on the highway, although we’re not entirely sure why.
Dealerships struggle after massive cyberattack.
In a post on Facebook, the law enforcement agency hints at a few possibilities like the UFO’s questionable registration, going “warp speed” and the use of phasers on the interstate. We can see how these issues would concern any cop.
Ultimately, we wonder if the deputy didn’t just want to get his photo taken with a wildly unique vehicle as it passed through the county.
Apparently, the two humanoids inside were traveling through Missouri on their way to none other than Roswell, New Mexico for some sort of extraterrestrial festival being held there. Considering the city is a magnet for alien enthusiasts and odd gatherings, the story seems legitimate.
Our burning question is what’s under the skin of this creative little UFO? We can see there’s a grille, so it’s obviously using an internal combustion engine of some sort. Is it a V8? Do aliens do LS swaps? And what’s the chassis from?
Obviously, this isn’t the first person to turn a car into a flying saucer, but this build looks pretty smooth. It has a hinged canopy, saucer shape that still fits in a lane of travel no problem, headlights, the grille of course, and the phasers mounted up front.
The thing can obviously get up past 70 mph, although we wonder how fuel efficient it is and we doubt the owners really care about that too much. Instead, they’re traveling the country having the time of their lives while getting plenty of attention everywhere they go.
