Road rage is such a problem these days, even Power Rangers are engaging in it. Hector David Jr., who played the Green Samurai Ranger in the Power Rangers show, has been accused by the Nampa Police Department in Idaho of physically attacking an elderly man in a dispute over a parking spot.
Watch a motorcyclist rammed off the road in a road rage incident.
Footage of the attack was posted on Facebook by Nampa Police and we’ve shared it so you can watch the exchange. In it, you see a man who allegedly is David pushing an elderly man using a walker down to the ground in a parking lot.
After that, the suspect leaves the elderly man on the ground and gets in his truck, driving away without checking if the victim is okay.
This reportedly happened after a verbal exchange. It appears the lifted truck David gets into after the assault was in a handicap spot, the blue square underneath it indicating as such.
The assault happened just before noon on July 26.
At first, Nampa Police Department was asking the public for help identifying the suspect in the footage. After some tips came in, the man was apparently identified as Hector David Jr., reports CNN.
However, police reportedly have been struggling to find David. There is a warrant for his arrest for misdemeanor battery, so if he gets pulled over or has other interactions with police he should be facing at least some time in jail.
Also reported by CNN, David was supposed to make an appearance at the Magic Valley Comic-Con in Twin Falls, Idaho which was held last weekend but instead backed out only days before. Perhaps he was concerned police would be waiting to arrest him in front of dozens of his adoring fans.
Whatever the initial conflict was over, we would never condone attacking anyone, especially an elderly person, like that.
