As the last air-cooled Porsche 911, the 964 holds a special place in many enthusiasts’ hearts. To honor that legacy, Singer created the Mulholland, a re-imagining of the iconic car, tuned to really hug the turns on the Mullholland Highway as it cuts through the Santa Monica Mountains north of Los Angeles.
This tweaked Porsche 930 Turbo is a Widowmaker done right.
Even better, the rally-inspired car wears a topographical map of that famous stretch of road. Another rather obvious modification is the four hood-mounted fog lights, perfect for lighting up a course even as mud cakes the front end of the car.
There are also rally wheels, which sit further apart from each other thanks to Singer widening the Porsche’s stance. You’ll note other telltale design cues from the popular tuner, like the gas filler in the hood and the center-mounted dual exhaust.
Just don’t think you can go to Singer and get one of these Mullholland 964s. The vehicle was a one-off creation for a client back in 2018. It’s rare anyone gets to see it, so we had to share a video Autotopia LA recently dropped of it and a recently completed second car carving up the Mulholland Highway.
Both cars sound and look amazing, and you get to just enjoy watching them chase each other on the canyon road. There’s no talking in the video, just the cars driving and a few static shots. The eye candy is much appreciated by us, as is the audio symphony.
Apparently, the second Porsche 911 Singer Mulholland is in search of an owner. This is a unique opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts who are in regular contact with their wealth manager, because if you’re not it’s probably out of reach.
