If you can swing the lofty asking price for this 2019 Buckshot Avenger, you would have quite a powerful, fast, and fun off-road toy in your garage. The thing performs as extremely as it looks, humbling your neighbor’s tuned side by side and even giving a lot of road cars a run for their money.
Check this out for an affordable off-roader.
Apparently, this is the only street-legal, font-engine Buckshot ever made, so that helps explain the price premium. Still, for a lot of people this thing is just plain out of reach while a Polaris RZR or another more tame side by side isn’t.

That engine up front is an LS3 V8, which has been tuned to make 525-horsepower. Married to that is a 4L80E automatic transmission with a Maximus off-road torque converter, helping you to make good use of that power.
Another highlight of this ride are the King 3.0 internal bypass shocks with finned coolers. Those alone show this build is for going fast and spending a long time pushing this machine on rough terrain.
Plus, the shocks allow for 20 inches of travel at all four corners. Wilwood 4-pot brakes and vented rotors help keep everything in check.

This fast off-roader rolls on 37- and 39-inch Toyota MTs in the front and rear, respectively, giving it an aggressive stance. Both are mounted on 17-inch beadlock wheels.
But this purpose-built and one-of-one machine doesn’t come cheap. With only 127 miles on it, this Buckshot Avenger has an asking price of $90,000, although the listing does say “OBO.” Maybe you can make an offer, but we don’t think the seller’s going to jump at some lowball amount.
