A bull moose in Sweden decided to take its unbridled rage out on a few BMWs housed inside an auto repair shop and one of the employees captured the attack on his cellphone. Had it not been recorded, we wonder how many people, including the cars’ owners and the insurance company, would’ve believed it happened.
Treating a Dodge Viper so poorly should be a crime.
In case you’ve never lived where moose are a thing, they can actually be quite dangerous. Usually the seem docile, but like buffalo they’re big and fast, so a lot of inexperienced individuals are caught off guard when they get moving.
BMW specialist shop Schmiedmann shared the shocking video to Facebook and had a little fun at what’s obviously not a great situation. They joked about this being the new Moose Test, that famous safety test Sweden puts different vehicles through to see if they can swerve to avoid a moose standing on the road.
In the video, the bull moose stomps on a few Bimmers as they sit inside the shop for some sort of repairs. Now they all need paint correction or body work since a moose can kick right through composite materials.
It’s possible the moose was just doing his service, expressing outrage at a shop in Sweden servicing Teutonic rides instead of red blooded Swedish ones. Or maybe it’s been almost hit by speeding Bimmer drivers who don’t bother to signal – take your pick.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen animals take their frustration out on vehicles, from bears tearing apart Range Rovers from the inside to dogs ripping apart the exterior of cars sitting on dealer lots. Why do they do it? You’ll have to ask your local animal psychologist for an explanation, because we’re pretty sure these BMWs weren’t hurting the moose or its feelings.
