Japanese tuner Liberty Walk has revealed a new body kit, and surprisingly it’s for the Dodge Challenger. When most people think of Liberty Walk, American muscle cars are about the last thing on their mind. After all, the tuner has become famous for its radical takes on European exotics and Japanese rides, not muscle cars, but this is a welcome change of pace.
See how a bunch of kids react to a DeLorean pulling up at a car meet.
Like we’ve come to expect from Liberty Walk, the kit makes the Challenger look like it’s slammed within an ant’s breadth of the ground. The fenders are flared out quite a bit, adding to the aggressive stance.

Of course, the additional body panels don’t have hidden fasteners but instead those are exposed, giving the muscle car more of an industrial look, which we think works well.
That theme continues with the five split-spoke wheels, which feature rivets out in plain view. Those and the tires are properly tucket partially behind the flared-out fenders. Red brake calipers peek through the spokes, adding some further jewelry to the ride.
Speaking of ride, just like with other Liberty Walk builds, this kit comes with an adjustable air suspension. Some might think that chin spoiler wouldn’t last two minutes of driving in the real world and it wouldn’t on the lowest setting.
Revealed at the Tokyo Auto Salon, this kit is available for any 2008 to 2023 Dodge Challenger that isn’t a Widebody model. It could be just the right thing to give your ride a more aggressive edge.
What most don’t seem to realize is Liberty Walk does make body kits for a number of American vehicles, although that’s a more recent development. You can currently get kits for Mustangs, Broncos, C8 Corvettes, and Jeep Wrangler. Perhaps this Challenger R/T kit will help spread awareness of the company’s expanded offerings.
