When it comes to Kanye West, his cars are very much like this lifestyle, nothing subtle at all. That’s why we’re not the least bit surprised he’s been spotted tooling around Los Angeles with identical Maybach S680 sedans sporting a shiny chrome wrap. Since everyone is noticing the new rides, we think Ye has accomplished his true goal.

The Maybachs were customized by Elite Auto Network, confirms TMZ, which says the company was approached by West back in December about putting the mirrored wrap on the ultra-luxury cars. The official name of the wrap is “Conform Chrome Silver Film” in case you’re wanting to get it for your Honda.
Adding to the dramatic flair of the sedans are Chrome Monoblock wheels as well as fully mirrored tint in the windows. The effect is certainly head-turning, allowing Ye to make a big splash when he rolled up to the Grammys recently.
This isn’t the first time the rapper has driven something which has stirred up lots of talk. Back in May 2024 he was spotted in what some people mistakenly thought was a modified Tesla Cybertruck. It was actually one of the Los Res concept cars which look like a giant plastic wedge, the windows, wheels, and everything else hidden from sight.
Just like with many celebrities, it’s obvious for Kanye West vehicles are as much a fashion accessory as anything else. He not only regularly changes up what vehicles he drives, or is driven in, but also has them customized in wild ways so people talk about him. And it works.
Obviously, the man didn’t need two Maybachs since he has his wife could ride in one. The other allegedly is for his extra large security staff, but they could just roll around in a black Suburban like what everyone else does. This is about making a statement.
