When you’re the number one podcaster in the world, an MMA commentator, and an ultra-popular comedian you get all kinds of perks the rest of us only dream about. Joe Rogan was able to check something else off his bucket list recently when he visited Hennessey Performance and took the Venom F5 for a spin.
A pack of dogs keeps destroying the cars at this dealership.
Posted to the official Hennessey Performance Facebook page on May 10 is a photo of Rogan with the hypercar and Hennessey Founder/CEO John Hennessey. The photo actually wasn’t taken at the Hennessey headquarters but instead in Houston, about 45 minutes away.
The photo caption reads “Just a couple of Texas boys ready to embarrass all of you on Grand Parkway with their 1817 HP” along with takes for Rogan’s and Hennessey’s Instagram accounts.
We doubt the pair really broke the law in a big way, but the Venom F5 is absolutely capable of landing someone in jail. Not only is it powerful, with a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 delivering 1,817-hp and 1,193 lb.-ft. of torque, all those aero elements are there for a reason.
Hennessey has engineered the Venom F5 to push past the 300 mph limit, something few production cars can achieve. Accelerating from 0 to 60 mph takes under 3 seconds, and that aspect of the hypercar’s performance we bet Rogan got to experience firsthand.
Rogan boasts quite the car collection himself, showing the comedian and podcaster is a true gearhead. Among the rides in his extensive garage are a 1965 Corvette, 2005 BMW M3, a custom 1970 Plymouth Barracuda called Sick Fish, a 1993 Porsche 911 RS America, and a 2008 SharkWerks Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
He’s also a Hennessey Performance customer, with a 2021 Hennessey Velociraptor 600 also in his collection.
